Nettoløn

Take-Home Planner in DK Tax year 2026 How to use ↗

Know your number — down to the kroner.

Nettoløn simplifies Danish personal income tax in English: see exactly what lands in your account after tax. Your figures are also mapped to the real forskudsopgørelse boxes, so the figures are SKAT-aligned and — as a bonus — you can export them to check against your advance statement. It covers a wide range of income and deductions, and your financial data never leaves your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded or stored.

A careful estimate to plan with — not tax advice or an official assessment. Some areas (property and foreign income especially) are intricate under Danish law; treat those figures as guidance.

1

Your income

Base pay plus everything extra — bonuses and one-offs are taxed too.

Salary
Bonus (fixed or variable), commission or extra payouts this year?
Fixed or performance/variable bonus, commission, holiday supplement, awards, severance — all taxed like salary (A-income: AM-bidrag + A-skat). Enter the amount you expect for the year.
Other income
Do you have self-employment / freelance income?
Sole proprietor profit (overskud) — taxed as personal income, you pay 8% AM-bidrag yourself · advanced
Where you live
Special tax scheme
2

Loans, interest & investments

All your interest nets into one "capital income" figure. Dividends are taxed separately.

Do you pay interest on any loans?
Mortgage, car, consumer/other loans → negative capital income · value ~33.6% under 50,000 kr, ~25% above · rentefradrag ↗
Do you earn interest or have other capital income?
Bank/bond interest, rental surplus → positive capital income (taxed with your income)
Do you own shares, ETFs or receive dividends?
Aktieindkomst · 27% up to 79,400 kr (158,800 couples), 42% above · shares ↗
Do you rent out your home, a room, or a summer house?
Rental income · standard bundfradrag method (not actual-expense accounting): bundfradrag then 60% of the excess taxed as capital income · rules ↗
+ Foreign income & property expats — worldwide income, advanced, verify with SKAT
Advanced & treaty-dependent. As a full Danish resident you're taxed on worldwide income. Denmark taxes these, then gives credit for foreign tax you already paid (capped at the Danish tax on that income). The exact relief depends on the double-taxation treaty with each country — this is an estimate; confirm with SKAT. You must also report foreign assets even if they earn nothing.
3
